Bulls Game Day: Bulls up 46-42 at the half

By Teddy Greenstein

Carlos Boozer stepped up in the second quarter, scoring nine points and grabbing three rebounds.

Boozer's strong play, including some solid defense on Glen Davis, helped the Bulls take the locker room with a 46-42 halftime lead.

The Celtics jumped out to a 14-6 lead but Derrick Rose led his team back. Rose scored 12 in the first quarter and added four in the second.

Boston entered as the only team in the NBA that shoots better than 50 percent. They made just 15 of 38 (39.5 percent) in the first half, in part because of the Bulls' effort on defense and in part because of several missed shots on wide-open looks.
