Eagles Aim to Keep Heat on Packers

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers picked apart the defending NFC champion Arizona defense for 423 yards and four touchdowns in his playoff debut last January. He riddled a good New York Giants defense for 404 yards and four touchdowns just two weeks ago. And Rodgers led the NFC in passing this season. So even though Philadelphia limited him to 188 yards in Week 1, the Eagles know they face a serious test in Sunday's playoff opener at Lincoln Financial Field.

"He's good," said Eagles strong safety Quintin Mikell. "The thing he does really well is he gets the ball out quickly. Sometimes it's frustrating because he can get away from blitzes and use his feet and run for a first down."

The Eagles got to Rodgers three times in the opener but still lost 27-20 largely because of a rough first half by the offense.

"When we faced him the first week they did a great job (against our blitz) and the credit goes to their offensive line as well and it's spread around to their receivers because they get open and they get open fast and he distributes the ball extremely well and fast," said Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott. "I think he's the best quarterback against the blitz, (but) we're always going to blitz and it's just a matter of how much we blitz and in what situations."
