Five Boston statues will be decorated in cutoff hooded sweatshirts Wednesday as promotion for a documentary NFL Network will air on Patriots head coach Bill Belichick on Thursday night, The Boston Globe reported.
Statues of explorer Christopher Columbus, artist John Singleton Copley and politician James Michael Curley, a former Massachusetts governor and congressman and Boston mayor, will be adorned in the sweatshirts, according to the Globe, as will the tortoise and hare statues in Copley Square.
According to the Globe, an NFL Network spokesperson said the city helped to identify the five statues that would be dressed in the sweatshirts, and a city spokesperson told the Globe that the network will make a donation toward statue restoration in Boston.
The feature, "Bill Belichick: A Football Life," airs at 9 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
