Big East set to add five schools

The Big East is set to add Boise State, San Diego State, Houston, UCF and SMU as the league begins to rebuild itself, multiple sources confirmed to ESPN.com. An announcement could come as early as Wednesday. The five additions would make up for the losses of Pitt, Syracuse, TCU and West Virginia as the league attempts to hold itself together and remain a viable automatic-qualifying conference.
