Chryst suspends Hollins; Myers leaves

Pitt coach Paul Chryst announced Friday that tackle Juantez Hollins has been suspended for the season for a violation of team rules, while backup quarterback Mark Myers is no longer with the team. Also, Chryst has suspended incoming freshman receiver Chris Davis for the first week of practice for disciplinary reasons. Davis will be eligible to return to practice Aug. 12. Hollins played in 13 games last year, and made seven starts. Losing him will no doubt hurt the depth along the line, the weakest part of the team last season.
