NFLPA executive director Smith to forgo his salary

NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith will forgo has salary until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is reached, according to NFL Network.

Smith informed the union members of his decision as the players met Friday in Marco Island, Fla., where he also told them that his goal was to get a fair deal done as quickly as possible.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and general counsel Jeff Pash have both cut their salaries to $1.
