Butch Jones agrees to extension

Cincinnati coach Butch Jones said Monday he has agreed to a contract extension that will run through the 2017 season. This is welcome news to Bearcats fans, who saw Jones get overtures from Illinois, North Carolina and UCLA for their recent coaching openings. "I believe in what we're building," Jones said after practice. "I think there's so many great things to building a really successful football program and not just a successful team. We have great practice facilities now.
