QBR: Mark Sanchez vs. Tim Tebow

New York Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez outperformed teammate Tim Tebow last season, according to the Total Quarterback Rating. But it's not something to brag about. Both quarterbacks were among the five worst in QBR in 2011, according to ESPN's Stats and Information. Sanchez was 29th out of 33 quarterbacks with a 33.6 QBR. Tebow was 31st with a 27.2 QBR with the Denver Broncos. Blaine Gabbert of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Curtis Painter of the Indianapolis Colts were the only quarterbacks with worse ratings than Tebow.
