Thibodeau: Thomas will start for Boozer tonight

Coach Tom Thibodeau said Kurt Thomas will start for the injured Carlos Boozer at power forward.

Thibodeau cited his comfort level with the second group featuring Taj Gibson and Omer Asik as a unit, as well as Thomas' strong play as a starter during Joakim Noah's absence.

Luol Deng said he plans to try to play through his bruised left thigh. He and Keith Bogans are the only two players to start every game this season.

Rasual Butler will be active for the first time as a Bull.
