Kaepernick throws passes at 49ers' player-organized workouts

The 49ers' QB of the future, Colin Kaepernick, the team's second-round selection in April's draft, threw passes at player-organized workouts Friday, according to a report from The Sacramento Bee.

Kapernick, who reportedly moved to the Bay Area this past week, has worked out with his new teammates in the San Jose area. However, the throwing session he performed Friday is the most strenuous activity he has had since undergoing surgery his left leg following the draft.

It's still unknown exactly what procedure was performed but it's considered to be a minor one and Kaepernick has been off crutches for more than a week.
