Poll: AFC East Player of the Week

The AFC East had a rough Week 3. The division went 1-3, with the Buffalo Bills (3-0) the only team to earn a victory.

But there were some good, individual performances on Sunday. Using our SportsNation poll, we want to know which player stood out most.

Was it New England Patriots receiver Wes Welker? The Bills had no answer for Welker, who set a Patriots record with 16 receptions for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Welker stepped up big with the absence of tight end Aaron Hernandez.

What about Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick? After a slow start, which included two interceptions in the first half, Fitzpatrick led Buffalo from a 21-point deficit. Fitzpatrick threw for 369 yards and two touchdowns to help Buffalo to first place in the AFC East.

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez also put up numbers in a losing effort. He threw for 369 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in a loss to the Oakland Raiders. Is Sanchez the player of the week?

Rookie tailback Daniel Thomas continues to impress for the Miami Dolphins. He recorded 95 yards on 23 carries in a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
