The Titans reached by selecting Washington QB Jake Locker with the eighth overall pick because they think he can lead them back to the postseason.
Fantasy owners will need to exercise more caution with Locker.
He might eventually turn out to be a fantasy commodity, but it's not likely to be the case in 2011. The Titans are a run-first team that is going to lean heavily on star RB Chris Johnson.
And while Locker's rocket arm, above-average mobility and outstanding toughness could win him the starting job right out of the gate, his accuracy and ability to make the right reads are cause for concern.
Locker might be worth a flier late in the draft, but make sure you have a dependable starter in place well before then.
