OL Watkins to attend draft

Baylor OL Danny Watkins has accepted the league's invite to attend the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall, according to multiple reports.

in the Pro Football Weekly 2011 Draft Preview, PFW draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki writes that Watkins has "the physical skill set to start readily." Nawrocki projects Watkins, a 26-year old former firefighter who began playing football only a few years ago, to be a top-40 pick. PFW rates Watkins as the draft's fifth-best offensive lineman.

According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, Watkins is planning on bringing some of his fellow firefighters to New York for the draft.
