Saints WR Robert Meachem revealed in April that he underwent ankle surgery after last season, but his recovery has gone well, per reports, and he expects to be 100 percent healthy well before the 2011 season, which will be a pivotal one for him. He has a lot to gain heading into his fifth year. Meachem figures to have his best shot yet of becoming the regular starter opposite Marques Colston and is entering the final year of his rookie contract. His production declined last season as he was nagged by injuries and some fans were disappointed by his performance after an impressive showing in '09. The former first-round pick still has breakout potential, as long as he stays healthy. If he plays well enough to convince a team that he can be a No. 1 receiver, Meachem will be set up for a major pay day and the Saints will have competition for his services.
