Cardinals CB Toler sprains knee

Cardinals starting CB Greg Toler sprained his left knee in Saturday night's preseason game against the Chargers.

Toler left the game in the first quarter and did not return. The third-year pro played in 14 games with 13 starts last season. He made 90 tackles, nine passes defensed and two interceptions.

There is no timetable on how long Toler will be out. His backup, rookie Patrick Peterson, returned an interception for a touchdown. The Cardinals also have former Panthers CB Richard Marshall.
