Packers-Buccaneers prediction

PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush offers his prediction for the Week 11 showdown vs. the Buccaneers at Lambeau Field Sunday.

As I mentioned earlier in this week in one of my Wednesday postings, I predicted in Handicapper's Corner in the PFW print edition this week that Tampa Bay would cover the early 13½-point spread for this game. But that pick was made before the Packers did a number on the Vikings on Monday night. That the defense looked as good as, if not better than, the offense in the Vikings victory does not bode well at all for a Bucs team that hasn't looked good at all lately on either side of the ball.

Bucs QB Josh Freeman has been out of sorts, and Green Bay's offense figures to have its way with the Bucs' defense, both throwing the ball and running it. Look for another four-TD, 100-plus passer rating for Aaron Rodgers and at least one takeaway by the defense returned for a TD.

Prediction: Packers 44, Bucs 13
