Reggie Bush is trying to talk his way out of New Orleans. While the Saints would like to keep him, he might get a chance to move on. Bush, who is under contract through 2011, basically declared his career with the Saints was over after they traded back into the first round to draft Mark Ingram with the 28th overall pick. Head coach Sean Payton has said that he has a clear vision for Bush in New Orleans' backfield this season, but it has been known for quite some time that Bush would have to agree to take a significant pay cut in order to stay with the team. He's due to be paid $11.8 million in '11. Bush's pride clearly was hurt by the selection of Ingram, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner. With Ingram, Pierre Thomas, who signed a four-year extension before the lockout, and Chris Ivory slated to share time in the backfield, the Saints are well prepared if Bush decides he's unwilling to play at their price.
