League filed brief, asks for injunction to be vacated

The NFL filed a 74-page brief to the Eigthh Circuit Court of Appeals, stating their reasons why Judge Susan Richard Nelson's ruling in the "Tom Brady vs. NFL" case should be overturned. The league essentially states that this is a labor dispute and not a matter of antitrust, and that Judge Nelson has misinterpreted the law with her previous ruling.

The court is currently reviewing the brief.

The league's conclusion read, "This Court should vacate the District Court's grant of a preliminary injunction and remand with instructions to dismiss or stay the action."

The way we see it

There is no change to the league's stance, which states that the players are not negotiating in good faith by decertifying their union while filing an antitrust suit. The league claims the players broke up the union for "tactical reasons" and that the National Labor Relations Board, and not a court, should be overseeing this issue.
