The growing rumors of Titans QB Vince Young to the Redskins are coursing their way through the NFL, but one Redskins source claims he hasn't heard that being touted as head coach Mike Shanahan's master plan. "News to me," the source said, neither ruling out adding Young nor giving it much credence. Young is still under contract in Tennessee, but the Titans have said that they will attempt to trade or release him when moves are allowed once the lockout is lifted. The source did not believe a trade was imminent because Shanahan has put a premium on collecting — not giving away — draft picks since coming aboard to right the ship. Although signing Young after he's released isn't out of the possibility, it might not be of the highest priority. The Redskins still must make moves at quarterback, regardless of whether Shanahan believes in John Beck. The team will have to trade Donovan McNabb, or release him, and it must make a call on whether or not to re-sign Rex Grossman.
