Every day this week, a different Pro Football Weekly editor will offer a prediction on the NFC championship this Sunday along with a brief explanation supporting his pick. Making Saturday’s pick is PFW associate editor Dan Parr.
After all the hype, this game will not disappoint. In a back-and-forth battle, the Packers will be just a bit better on both offense and defense. While the Bears hold an advantage on special teams, it will not be able to make up the difference. Pass-protection breakdowns will hurt Chicago and a few deep completions by QB Aaron Rodgers will help swing the game in the Packers' favor. A late interception will spoil an otherwise solid day for QB Jay Cutler and it will seal a win for Green Bay.
Prediction: Packers 24, Bears 20
