Your vote: Must-see Notre Dame games

The polls are almost closed, and we've come to our final Notre Dame-centric election of the week. Vote below, and we'll tally up the results and react to them in the coming days.

The final poll question is simple: Which Notre Dame games are can't-miss contests this year? If you're a true Irish fan, they're all must-see TV, and the nature of the schedule and the history of the Notre Dame brand means that just about every week is wildly important for at least one side. But some games are bigger than others.

Here are my five nominees for the top five games on the 2011 Irish schedule.

• USC: Notre Dame finally got back on the right side of this rivalry last year, and with the scholarship reductions for the Trojans, perhaps that was the beginning of a trend for the Domers. Having this as a night game in South Bend on Oct. 22 guarantees an electric atmosphere.
• Stanford: The Cardinal will likely begin the season as the highest-ranked opponent on the Irish schedule. It's the season finale, so there could be a lot on the line. And it will be the final home game for Andrew Luck. On paper, the toughest challenge for Notre Dame this year.
• Michigan: The Michigan game is always big, and this time it will be a night game in the Big House. The Irish fell just short the past two years and again have to find a way to stop Denard Robinson. But it will be just the second game of the Brady Hoke era.
• Michigan State: Who can forget last year's thrilling overtime game, which the Spartans won on a audacious fake field goal? Think the Irish won't be reminded of that a couple hundred times before the Sept. 17 game in South Bend?
• Navy: The Midshipmen have become a recent nemesis for Notre Dame after years of being dominated in the series. They beat the Irish last year in humiliating fashion. The chance for revenge comes Nov. 29 at Notre Dame Stadium.
