Vikings fantasy report: Week Eight

Here are some of the Vikings' fantasy football options this week:

QB Christian Ponder had a respectable showing for his first game out, completing 13-of-32 passes for 219 yards, two TDs and two interceptions. However, he only belongs on dynasty league rosters.

RB Adrian Peterson (knee) has been limited in practice, but says he can carry the load. The Panthers are allowing 179 offensive yards and two TDs per game to opposing backs over the last four contests.

Vikings WR Percy Harvin aggravated his ribs and has not been cleared to play. Watch for weekend updates.

WR Michael Jenkins had a great game against the Packers, catching 3-111-1 on eight targets and leads or is tied for the team lead in targets, yards and TDs. He's a bye-week play in larger leagues.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe had 4-45-1 receiving with eight targets and was a focal point for Ponder vs. Green Bay. See how well he and the rookie develop chemistry.
