Raiders QB Jason Campbell left the team's Week Six game vs. the Browns with an upper-body injury. According to the ESPN's Adam Schefter, Campbell has a broken collarbone and will be out indefinetly. There is a chance he misses the remainder of the season.
Campbell was hurt after diving for a first down following a seven-yard run. He was laying on the field for a few minutes while trainers examined him before walking into the locker room for X-rays. The QB completed 6-of-9 passes for 52 yards before leaving with the injury; he also lost a fumble on an earlier run.
Klye Boller is the team's only backup quarterback. Third-stringer Terrelle Pryor is not active and P Shane Lechler is reportedly the third-string quarterback.
The way we see it
Though Boller has starting experience, the team is likely to look for a free-agent QB if Campbell is going to miss an extended period of time.
