Vikings rookie report: Week Four

Here's how the key rookies contributed for the Vikings in the Week Four loss to the Chiefs.

TE Kyle Rudolph — Rudolph continues to make an impact each week. Against the Chiefs, he contributed the team's longest offensive play, a 41-yard reception in the second quarter. The TE position seems to be the most productive receiving group, and Rudolph should be a part of that going forward.

QB Christian Ponder — Against the Chiefs, he held a clipboard. But with the way the season has gone, that will soon be something of the past, no matter how many times Leslie Frazier defends Donovan McNabb.

LB Larry Dean — Dean had two special-teams tackles and leads the team in special-teams tackles this season with seven.

DL Christian Ballard — He played some snaps on defense, but didn't do anything of note, positive or negative.
