Vikings rookie report: Week Four

Here's how the key rookies contributed for the Vikings in the Week Four loss to the Chiefs.

TE Kyle Rudolph Rudolph continues to make an impact each week. Against the Chiefs, he contributed the team's longest offensive play, a 41-yard reception in the second quarter. The TE position seems to be the most productive receiving group, and Rudolph should be a part of that going forward.

QB Christian Ponder — Against the Chiefs, he held a clipboard. But with the way the season has gone, that will soon be something of the past, no matter how many times Leslie Frazier defends Donovan McNabb.

LB Larry Dean — Dean had two special-teams tackles and leads the team in special-teams tackles this season with seven.

DL Christian Ballard — He played some snaps on defense, but didn't do anything of note, positive or negative.
