Vikings Sullivan, Sanford and Loadholt dealing with injuries

Vikings SS Jamarca Sanford and C John Sullivan suffered concussions in the 39-10 loss Sunday night against the Bears. ORT Phil Loadholt also left the game with an inflamed knee.

Sanford and Sullivan will have to go through the league mandated concussion procedures, including tests by independent neurologists. Loadholt had an MRI that was negative, though there is tendinitis.

At his press conference on Monday, head coach Leslie Frazier said the status of all three players would have to be evaluated during the week.

The Way We See It

The offensive line struggled mightily Sunday night and it got even worse once Sullivan and Loadholt had to leave the game. There isn't much depth up front and if either of them has to miss an extended period of time, the offense could continue to struggle.

Sanford is more replaceable with Tyrell Johnson expected to step up if the starter is out.
