Cowboys promote RB Miller, put Lissemore on I.R.

The Cowboys have placed rookie DE Sean Lissemore on injured reserve and promoted RB Lonyae Miller from their practice squad.

Lissemore, who suffered an ankle injury in a Week Nine loss to the Packers, has been with the Cowboys all season. He started two games, and recorded all three of his tackles in a Week Eight loss to the Jaguars.

Miller signed with Dallas as an undrafted rookie free agent and has spent the past 12 weeks on the practice squad.

The way we see it

Miller will provide depth at the RB position with Marion Barber (calf) ruled out for Sunday.
