QB Matt Hasselbeck Will Start for Seattle Against Tampa Bay

RENTON, Wash. - Apparently there's more to Matt Hasselbeck than the last two games have shown.

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Hasselbeck will quarterback the team in Tampa Bay in the next-to-last game of the season with the Seahawks badly needing a win to keep their heads above water in the crazy currents of the NFC West.

Seattle is tied with St. Louis at 6-8 and will play the Rams in the season finale. Before that, the Seahawks need to get rolling again after a streak in which Seattle has lost six of its last eight games.

In the last two Hasselbeck has thrown for six interceptions and has lost two fumbles.
